Call for Posters
CCMT 2025: Call for Posters for Outstanding Papers at the 21st China Conference on Machine Translation and Multilingual Technology
Background
Machine translation and multilingual information processing are core components of artificial intelligence. They drive cross-lingual communication, global information connectivity, and enable “AI+” applications. With the rapid advances of large language models (LLMs), the MT and NLP fields are facing new opportunities and challenges. The Chinese Information Processing Society of China (CIPS), long dedicated to promoting academic exchange and technological innovation in these areas, will host the 21st China Conference on Machine Translation and Multilingual Technology (CCMT 2025). The conference will be held on September 26–28, 2025, in Lanzhou, Gansu, and is hosted by Northwest Minzu University.
As an important annual platform for academic exchange, CCMT 2025 is now calling for posters in machine translation, multilingual information processing, and related fields, with opportunities for on-site presentation. We warmly invite researchers and practitioners from academia and industry—both in China and abroad—to showcase outstanding poster papers, explore cutting-edge theories and technologies, share innovative ideas and practices, and promote deeper integration of academia and industry.
Topics
This call aims to provide an open exchange platform for researchers in natural language processing (NLP). The scope is not limited to the MT-related topics listed on the official website (http://sc.cipsc.org.cn/mt/conference/2025/docs/call-for-papers). We also welcome innovative work across the broader NLP area—for example, LLM technologies and applications.
Poster Requirements
To foster idea exchange, we accept submissions regardless of publication status. Submissions may include:
- Published papers: Recently published at domestic or international conferences or journals (e.g., CCL, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING, TACL, CL, etc.).
- Unpublished papers: Work under submission, ongoing, or completed but not yet published original research.
We welcome any research you consider valuable, regardless of its current stage.
